Energy centres

The way our country's energy is generated and distributed is changing on a massive scale.

The Government's commitment to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, coupled with deregulation in the utility market, has provided the opportunity for companies to build, own and operate decentralised energy generation plants and distribution networks. This allows them to generate and sell multiple forms of energy including heat, power and cooling, all from a single plant.

As a leading innovator in efficient energy provision for the UK, we provide a variety of efficient energy solutions for the public and private sectors, all of which can be collectively described as community energy.

We provide a total solution from initial proposal and design, to project implementation, operation and maintenance. We can also provide advice on metering, billing and financing services.

Energy centres

Energy centres are at the core of any centralised energy scheme; they are quite literally the engine room where the heat, power and cooling is generated.

Combined heat and power (CHP)

CHP, or co-generation as it's sometimes called, is the process of capturing and then utilising the heat produced by generating electricity.

Biomass

Biomass is a type of fuel that produces energy by burning plant and animal matter such as trees, animal by-products, and general waste products.

Biomass

There are clear benefits to the use of Biomass CHP, derived from it’s efficiency coupled with it’s low carbon impact as a Renewable energy source, which make it an increasingly an "in demand" technology.

Solar Energy

Solar Panels generate electricity without producing any greenhouse gases and they do not cause pollution. Each kilowatt-peak (kWp) of electricity produced can save approximately 455 kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions compared with electricity generated from fossil fuels.

Waste-to-energy

Waste to energy refers to the range of processes where waste is burned at a high temperature. Heat energy is recovered from these processes and is reclaimed to produce steam, which is used to drive a turbine to produce electricity

Heating and cooling networks

Vital Energi excel in the design and installation of cooling and heating systems. We've built an enviable reputation based on the expertise of our staff and our commitment to quality and service.

Design and manufacture products

We are committed to providing a level of service that encourages companies to use us time and time again. Working partnerships are a key concept in our business but they only develop if customer satisfaction remains at the top of our list of priorities.

Operation and Maintenance

Installing an energy solution is, of course, just part of the process and even the most well-oiled machine needs routine repairs and maintenance.

Operation and Maintenance

Once they are up and running, community energy schemes also need to be managed. Bills need to be generated and usage needs to be monitored. Then there are the credit checks, the cash collection and the administration needed to up date consumer details and energy charges.
