Picking The Right Pathway For You

We have three apprenticeship pathways designed to give you the ideal start to your career in the renewable energy industry.

Our Technical Apprenticeship Programme is not only a gateway to a range of exciting careers in the green energy sector, it’s also the first step on the road to a Degree Level Apprenticeship, with all graduates of this programme encouraged to progress onto further study.

You’ll initially graduate with a Level 3 in Building Services Engineering Technician, working at our London, Scotland or Blackburn headquarters and spending time on our pioneering projects.

You’ll complete the course with a thorough knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems as well as developing key personal skills. To find out more click here.

If you enrol on the Advanced Level 3 Building Services Engineering Craftsperson qualification you’ll study at college, whilst working at Vital Energi and getting valuable experience at our nationwide renewable energy projects.

Graduates will have a full understanding of pipework fabrication and jointing techniques and a range of skills which includes working towards a Class 1 welding standard.

Once your level 3 apprenticeship is complete, further study at a higher level may be possible. If you’d like to know more click here.

Our Business Apprenticeships are offered across multiple departments and range from Level 2 up to Level 6 Degree Apprenticeships.

In recent years our vacancies have included Marketing, Finance and Business Administration.

You'll work at Vital Energi and study with one of our training partners in either Further or Higher Education depending on your level of apprenticeship.
