Climate education is now a vital education as there is a genuine climate emergency that we’re all a part of. As a company, each member of staff is taking accountability, opening up the energy industry to people from all walks of life to keep the climate change conversation going to encourage, educate, inspire and include. Local Climate Action

Engaging with communities & schools around our 3 office locations in Blackburn, Scotland & London as well as communities local to our projects across the UK to highlight the ways in which the energy industry can have a positive impact on the environment & inspire the next generation to take action.

Growing Up In Energy

We're opening up the floor to our Vital family, so they can tell their story of working in the energy industry, from how they started, through to where they are now. We'll also be taking the lead from the youngsters of Vital, what do they think we should be doing to make a greener future for them?

Net Zero Apprenticeships

Experience a day in the life of our net zero apprentices through their eyes and in their words. From being hands on across our live sites, through to creating and delivering campaigns to celebrate our low carbon contributions, we aim to inspire the future low carbon workforce into action.

Vital Sustainability

Leading by example, the Vital team are pledging to reduce our carbon emissions, at work and at home. We'll be encouraging our friends and family to follow suit and taking some top tips from the younger generation of how we can create a cleaner & greener future.

We want to open up the energy sector, making it an even more inclusive industry for people from all walks of life. Through all areas of our Vital education strategy we're going to encourage, educate, inspire and include people who want to make a positive and tangible change to our climate.

Accountability & Action

We want to share the good work we’re doing to reduce carbon emissions by working with schools to inspire the next generation and empower them to make small changes that will have a big impact on our journey to net zero. Through our low carbon projects, social engagement with local communities, interaction and education of the green workforce of the future as well as encouraging our own friends and family to make these small changes. We will take positive steps towards providing the toolkit needed to fight against climate change and make a lasting impression.
