It was great to bring so many local businesses together to raise money for such a worthwhile cause and it’s an event we look forward to every year. We’d like to thank Peel L&P for arranging such a worthwhile and fun event and all the other participants who made the day such a special occasion.
James Hadfield, Development Manager said “It’s no secret that Ener-Vate and Vital really look forward to the Dragon Boat Race. It's loads of fun, a true team building day full of highs and lows with lots of laughs along the way. The day is so well organised from start to finish and it is amazing to think about all the money that was raised for such a worthy cause. Looking forward to the next one!”
Peel L&P’s Liverpool Waters has supported Claire House for a number of years, helping the charity to develop its new site in West Derby, close to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. The charity has seen a 61% increase in the seriously and terminally ill children and young people it cares for in the past five years and is struggling to meet this demand.
