Scottish Borders Council NDEE

We’ve completed works on the £1.7m Scottish Borders Council NDEE project where we’ve installed a range of energy conservation and generating measures across multiple sites, and we’re now monitoring the guaranteed savings.  We recently sent one of our photographers to capture the works and, despite the inclement weather, we got some fantastic shots.

We’ve put together a gallery of images from the shoot which you can view below.

The council had selected 12 buildings for this phase of the NDEE project and Vital Energi were chosen to deliver the investment grade proposal which would identify energy and money saving upgrades to the council’s premises. Amongst the buildings were schools, care homes and leisure centres.

After a detailed survey Vital Energi recommended a range of energy conservation and generation measures which included upgrades to the lighting, air handling and boiler systems as well as the installation of solar PV. All upgrades were delivered on live sites, which called for close collaboration with the client.
