Providing data collection and operation and maintenance services for the Capital East residential apartments at Royal Victoria Docks
We took over the operation and maintenance and data collection services for the 388-property Capital East development in 2018 after identifying a range of measures to improve the operation and efficiencies of the scheme, such as re-synchronising the BMS controls to allow for remote monitoring. The district heating network supplies five residential blocks with heating and hot water from a communal basement energy centre which houses three boilers, a pressurisation unit and associated expansion vessels, and heat meters.
Our scope of work includes all planned preventative and reactive maintenance of the energy centre and chilled water supply in accordance with industry guidelines laid out in SFG20, and inspection and maintenance of the distribution pipework systems. We provide biennial servicing of all 388 heat interface units within the residential properties during an agreed and convenient time slot for the residents.
Additionally, using a fixed network connection, we remotely collect data from monthly meter readings of the heat interface units which are inputted into our bill generating system on behalf of the client. This is a quick and efficient method of data collection which removes the need for anyone to attend site or access each properties
